The chinese treasure and teach about the three things they believe to be the most important in life; the mirror, the sword and the crown. And i do not mean these literally.
 |
| i definately don't think you'd see the real you when you looked at the mirror, you'd see who you want to see. so no, again, not literally! |
The mirror stands for self knowledge, the sword for power and the crown for wealth. I know some of you have watched those ancient movies with people swinging in trees doing all kind of stunts swinging swords like there going to come out and slash you to bits, and yet you still don't pick from them.

| but do these guys really fly???? |
Me, i watched cartoons. You know, those manga toons where you have to read the subtitles to know what exactly is going on. But the treasure about those cartoons is they are based on the local teachings of the Chinese and Japanese. They are very intelligent people who studied human behaviour and came up with one of the most intelligent treasures of life...self knowledge.
With defining your self, you can know what you want and how you are going to achieve your future goals. This applies in almost all aspects of one's life. In marriage, in businesses and others. Someone once said it is better to be hated for what you are than liked for who you are not. I honestly do not know who came up with that but it was brilliant. When you know yourself, then then you can learn to love your self and appreciate who you are. And from loving yourself, you can be loved by others and thus accepted in society. Give some time to yourself, learn your behaviours before you can ask others to accept them. In the end, you get to be a better person.
